The Douglas County Department of Transportation (DCDOT) and the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) are currently working on a road repair project to improve the shoulder areas of the interchange ramps on Post Road at I-20.
This project involves the removal of the existing shoulder pavement and its replacement with well-graded millings.
The repair efforts are expected to be completed in the next 4 to 5 weeks, weather permitting.
Residents are urged to exercise extreme caution when approaching Post Road at the I-20 interchange during this period, as safety is our top priority.
For any questions or concerns, residents can contact the DCDOT @: roadconditions@douglascountyga.gov or 678-626-0158
